Membership in SRGC

Membership is open to any legal resident of the United States. A Junior membership is available to those under the age of 18 years. An initiation fee along with one years dues plus any assessments are required for new members. Only one initiation fee per family is required.

A prerequisite for membership is successful completion of an approved Firearms Safety Course, Hunter Education Program or proof that such a course has been taken in the past. SRGC gives monthly Safety Courses.

Prospective new members can also take such a course at any location offering them. This prerequisite is waived for members of the Armed Forces on active duty and for full-time Law Enforcement Officers.

The NRA looks after the rights of firearms owners at the national level while GOAL looks after our interests locally.
